Internet Connection

  • There MUST be wired internet to POS PCs.
  • NaviPartner recommends min. 2 x RJ45 connector per. POS.
  • The RTC client is latency sensitive.
    • The lower latency between the client and the NAV NST server, the better.
    • Under 30ms is the best.
  • A wired network is preferred to the RTC client, as there is often a high latency between client PC and Wi-Fi access point.
  • The web client is not as latency sensitive as the RTC client.
  • Under 100 ms between the client and the NAV Web server is best - the lower the better.
